We created The Peace of Mind Program and have refined it over the years to assist business owners to obtain the right life and health insurance coverages to benefit themselves and their family. This is how it works:

1. The Path Forward Discovery Meeting

   

  • The purpose of this introductory meeting is to determine if we are the right fit for you to provide our services.

  • We will discuss what matters to you in terms of your objectives. For example, eliminating your business financial obligations such as loans & leases, eliminating your estate tax, life insuring the value of your work in progress so that it is realized, providing an extra life insurance benefit to your family, or something else that is important to you such as a charitable cause.

  • We will outline how you can realize significant tax advantages that are available to business owners.

  • ​If the fit is right, then we will outline how we will build upon and update your existing foundation of coverages in order for you to have your objectives realized.

2. The Life & Health Insurance Benefits Blueprint

  • We will provide you with a written report, in a point by point format, on how you can modify and update your existing life and health insurance coverages to realize your objectives.

  • The report we provide you with will detail the specifics of how your company can pay for your coverages as a benefit for you instead of using your personal after tax dollars.

  • Additionally, the report we prepare for you will outline how your coverages can be used to receive money out of your company tax-free (this is prepared in a format to assist your accounting advisor to provide you with confirmation of the tax advantages outlined).

3. The Safety Net Directory

  • We will provide you with a one page, easy to understand, Master Summary of your life and health insurance coverages.

  • We will co-ordinate your coverage documents into a directory binder for your ease of reference.

4. The Peace of Mind Updates

  • As your objectives may change over time, we will complete periodic reviews of your life and health insurance coverages with you so that if your objectives do change, we can update your coverages so that they are consistent with the realization of your objectives.​
